We have opted for one of the world's best all-weather fabrics. Special advantages: Thanks to its micro-mesh, it is pleasantly air-circulating even in strong sunlight. It does not fade, is sun/UV-stable, resistant to moisture (rain, seawater, pool and snow) and easy to clean with a sponge and water. Despite all its technical advantages, it is very pleasant on the skin because it does not stick and does not leave a print pattern. Simply pleasant all round.

Yes, the armrests are part of the basic equipment. Matching the color of the hanging chair, they are also pre-assembled and integrated. They can even be individually adjusted in height to take the strain off your arms and shoulders. They are also movable, which increases the relaxation effect.

Yes, it is part of every ONE and is an important element in bringing the body into a relaxed position or floating state when sitting. To bring the legs into an optimum position, the length of the rope from the foot section can be adjusted. To do this, pull the rope out slightly at the loop (at the top of the S-hook) or feed it back into the hollow rope. Details in the instructions for use.

You need 2 fixed points. For our weatherproof COMBO and OYSTER hammocks, the distance should be between 3.80 m and 5.00 m. The height of the suspension points at a distance of 3.80 m (span length) should be approx. 1.40 m. If the distance is longer, raise the suspension points slightly. The hammock should be stretched tightly for optimum comfort. The SLIMLINE hammock requires a spacing of 2.60m to 4.00m. With a tensioning length of 2.60m, the two hanging points would be approx. 1.40m high and with a tensioning length of 4m approx. 2m high. The SLIMLINE should not be tensioned very tightly. Ideally, it should be tensioned in such a way that the typical shape can swing out without tension.

The hanging chair only needs 1 stable hanging point from which it is suspended with a rope. For example, from a tree, a swing frame, a balcony parapet, a roof gable, a pergola, a concrete ceiling or a wooden beam indoors. Or you can use one of the stands on offer. The minimum hanging height should be 2.20 m. No upper limit.

The circumstances of our customers are very different. That is why we offer various optional fastenings: Drop anchors for concrete ceilings, eyebolts for wooden beams, pre-stretched ropes for suspension, sheathing as rope protection, belt slings, stainless steel chains, etc. We are happy to provide tips.

The hammock chair is available for adults and children, for indoor and outdoor use. The hammocks are available in several models, shapes and sizes. Whether for 1 or 2 people, our daybeds are available in 2 versions for up to 3 adults, all with a design of clear shapes and lines. We do without frippery and non-essentials.

The load capacity specifications include sufficient safety reserves. The ONE hammock chair with stainless steel spreader bars has a sitting load of up to 150 kg, the COMBO hammock with stainless steel spreader bars has a reclining load of up to 250 kg, the SLIMLINE and CLIPPER hammocks have a reclining load of up to 150 kg and the CAYO hammock has a reclining load of 300 kg. The stainless steel uprights SOLA, MEZZO, MONDO and SLIMBO can be loaded up to 150 kg, the LAZY up to 250 kg and the DOPPIO up to 300 kg. Please note: The product versions with wooden poles can bear approx. 15% less weight.

Swivel shackles made of V4A stainless steel (or material no. 1.4404 or 316 AISI) are used for simple and secure fastening. It has decisive advantages for hanging chairs: You can adjust the hanging chair so that you can look in your desired direction without letting the rope dictate the direction. In addition, the swivel shackles prevent the suspension rope from "twisting", which could happen if it is constantly turned in one direction (popular with children). In the worst case scenario, this could result in the screw fastening unscrewing, e.g. on the concrete ceiling.

We manufacture the ONE hanging chair made of DINAMICA for indoor use in approx. 100 colors. DINAMICA is the modern generation of a non-woven product and has thus established itself as a high-quality microfiber fabric with an elegant suede look. It is pleasantly soft and non-slip and has a firm, stable material quality. Dinamica has no pilling, is breathable and is characterized by a pleasant seating climate. Stains can be easily removed, it is washable up to 40°, has ISO and ÖKO certification, is environmentally friendly, sustainable, free of harmful substances and therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers. Dinamica is made from 100% recycled material.

Wenn es so richtig kalt ist, freut man sich über einen Pulli oder Weste aus Fleece. Wir haben die Situation aufgegriffen. Damit du den ONE Hängesessel auch bei kühlen Temperaturen weiterhin kuschelig genießen kannst, produzieren wir die passgenauen Komplettbezüge BALU und das Nackenkissen KATTA. Da Fleece nicht gleich Fleece ist, haben wir uns konsequent für die besten Qualitäten entschieden, die kein Peeling haben und die man in der Maschine waschen kann (40°).

We manufacture the CrazyChair ONE from leather for indoor use. We know that Leather is a matter of trust. That's why we only offer quality leather of German origin, from southern German bulls, from a German tannery. In this way, we can ensure that our leather has not been treated with critical chemical agents. We select the coveted middle pieces from the bull leather. Conventional leathers, such as those used for classic seating furniture, are too thin for us and we would have to back-feed them. We don't want to do that. That is why we only use very thick (approx. 3.5 mm) tanned leather, which brings out the unique leather grain and naturalness. For seating comfort, we use the smooth surface as the seat side and the rough surface for the back of the hanging chair.

It is the modern material of our time, far less maintenance-intensive than wood, extremely stable and comparatively light. The correct term for "stainless steel" or "V2A or V4A" is "chromium-nickel steel". This refers to rust and acid-resistant steels. We process material no. 1.4301 or V2A or material 304 AISI as the basic version. On special request and for a corresponding surcharge, we also manufacture our products in material no. 1.4404 or V4A or material 316L AISI. AISI is the abbreviation for: American Iron and Steel Institute.

BALU is the name we give to the complete covers made of high-quality fleece that we produce to fit the hanging chair. The covers are a useful addition to the Crazy Chair all-weather. A cozy, warm and comfortable alternative for indoor use. The covers are attached to the hanging chair with a zipper for a perfect fit, are easy to put on and take off and can be easily cleaned in the washing machine (gentle cycle) and tumble dryer. They are available in several colors.

It is attached to the hanging chair with a strap and thus moves freely (gimbal-mounted). Absolutely practical and comfortable. And the great thing is that it can be used perfectly as a normal tray in the home and after just a few minutes you will discover its ingenious carrying and serving convenience. You always have one hand free to open doors or climb stairs safely. In combination with the REMO hanging tray stand, this is another mobile and convenient extension for use as a side table.

Since working from home has become increasingly important and the number of workstations with laptops and tablets has increased, PRONTO has developed into an interesting solution. The practical "lap or knee tray" has established itself as a practical laptop workstation. PRONTO is placed on the thighs when sitting in a hanging chair. The softly padded bottom cushion adapts to the shape of your body and is stable. We have designed it especially for the hanging chair and make it from fleece and terrycloth with a soft filling. With the fleece band sewn on and fitted with a weight at the end, it can be positioned at the right height on the hanging chair as required.

We are convinced of the ergonomic quality of the hanging chair. The "IGR - Institute for Health & Ergonomics" has also examined, tested and certified the CrazyChair ONE in detail. It is a galvanized steel anchor with a ring eye that is only suitable for concrete ceilings or walls. It is used to suspend the hanging chair from concrete ceilings or hammocks between two concrete walls. Its simple installation and high load capacity guarantee safe hanging pleasure. All you have to do is drill a 10 mm hole in the concrete ceiling, approx. 7-8 cm deep. Insert the anchor, tighten the nut, screw on the eyelet, tighten and you're done. Now pull the suspension rope from the hanging chair through the eyelet and knot the rope ends as a loop. Attach the spring to this loop and the swivel shackle from the hanging chair to it. For other masonry, e.g. bricks, hollow blocks, etc., other suitable anchors (hinged anchors, chemical anchors) must be used. Conventional "plastic anchors" are not recommended for high-load ceiling suspensions. They become soft after a long time, can decompose in the masonry and have too little hold under heavy loads.

The rope must correspond to the load-bearing capacity of the hanging chair or hammock. Further requirements are Weatherproof, pre-stretched, not twisted, good abrasion protection. Trust our ropes, which we offer especially for hanging chairs and hammocks, with a working load of 350 kg (breaking load of 1,230 kp.). The suspension ropes are always black. There are both technical and visual reasons for this. They are less prone to soiling in outdoor use and black also absorbs the sun better. The ropes have a white "soul" in the inner core. If you can see any white shimmering through the installed rope, the abrasion sheath has been damaged and the rope should be replaced. If the inner core is black, it would not be visible.

We use special hollow ropes for hanging chairs and hammocks. Here we do not mean the ropes for suspension, but the ropes with which we tie our products. The hollow ropes give us the option of "splicing". So we can do without knots. Spliced connections are more complex, but look better and are extremely durable. We have the hollow ropes we use produced especially for our needs by a well-known rope manufacturer in Germany. These ropes have undergone a certified test (1,200 kp breaking load / approx. 600 kg working load) and are woven exclusively for us.

A pleasant, shady accessory. It looks good because it is made from the same all-weather material, matching the color of the ONE hanging chair. It is easy to attach, can be retrofitted at any time and is practical as it has a small storage pocket in the front edge.

We have the spiral spring made of spring steel specially manufactured for us so that we can help determine the quality in terms of load capacity (up to 150 kg) and safety. The spiral spring is suspended between the suspension rope and the swivel shackle. It is included with the Crazy Chair hanging chair, but can also be ordered separately.

We only use high-quality ash logs. These are local woods that are not subject to rainforest deforestation. They are treated several times with organic wood oils and are thus prepared for weatherproofing. For permanent outdoor use, the wood should be cleaned with a damp cloth and then re-treated 2-3 times a year with a cloth and wood care oil.

We produce the matching stainless steel stands LAZY, LUNO, SLIMBO, CAYO, BUDDY and the DIVAN daybed for our weatherproof hammocks. Stainless steel requires much less maintenance than wood, is more durable, very resilient and has become increasingly popular as an outdoor material in recent years. Stainless steel is certainly more expensive than wood - but its durability and robustness outweigh it. In terms of design, the stainless steel stands are much more delicate and therefore less bulky than the wooden alternatives.

If you cannot hang your hanging chair directly from a rope, e.g. from a tree, pergola, balcony or ceiling, you will certainly need a stand. We manufacture our matching stainless steel stands SOLA, MEZZO, MONDO, BUDDY for this purpose. Stainless steel requires much less maintenance than wooden stands, is more durable, very resilient and has become increasingly popular as an outdoor material in recent years. Stainless steel is certainly more expensive than wood - but its durability and robustness outweigh it. In terms of design, the stainless steel stands are much more delicate and therefore less bulky than the wooden alternatives.

The seat angle of the hanging chair can be adjusted individually, from sitting upright to semi-reclining. The armrests and footrest can also be individually adjusted. This can be done easily without tools, in just a few seconds. Details in the instructions for use.

Weatherproof does not only mean insensitive to rain. The material must have optimum properties, especially in strong sun / UV. The all-weather material we use for hanging chairs and hammocks meets these requirements and more. Sea water does not bother it. It is air-circulating - especially in the sun, does not stick, is pleasant on the skin, is allergy-tested, fungicide-treated against microbacteria, retains its color intensity and does not fade. Of course, our stainless steel stands are also absolutely weatherproof.

One thing is important to say up front: the weatherproof CrazyChair hanging chairs, hammocks and stainless steel stands can be left outside all year round, even in the snow. However, if you prefer to hibernate your hammock or hanging chair indoors, you can easily remove and stow them away.

Please note: In the garden shed or similar places, you should prevent mice or other rodents from nibbling on them. Our stainless steel stands can easily be left outside (you don't remove the stainless steel railing on the house). For all those who still want to store it: The stainless steel stands are easy to dismantle and therefore easy to store, e.g. in the garage, cellar or alcove.

A little tip: The hanging chair is also ideal for use indoors in winter, e.g. in the living room, reading corner, in front of the tiled stove or in the children's room. If you combine it with a BALU cover, it is cozy and warm to sit in.

The "IGR - Institute for Health and Ergonomics" tests and certifies ergonomic products according to strict quality criteria. The focus is on health, prevention and practical applicability. These product tests always consist of a test in accordance with DIN EN ISO 26800 / EN ISO 15537 and an extensive practical test. CrazyChair was awarded the IGR certificate and also received the "Innovation Award Ergonomics 2021", which we were very pleased about, as it confirms our efforts for healthy sitting.

Unfortunately, we are now all experiencing an increase in associated problems due to the high volume of shipping and freight. We cannot prevent parcels from being delivered incorrectly at the front door or simply being left without notification of the recipient - it is happening more and more often.
